Common questions

Answers to what people often ask

Can't find what you're looking for? Send us a message and we'll gladly help.

How do I get started with Serendib Support Services?

The easiest way is to make a referral or request a call back. We'll have a friendly chat about goals and the support you're looking for, agree on a plan together, put a clear service agreement in place, and then begin support at a pace that suits you.

Do you support self-managed and plan-managed participants?

Yes — we work with both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants across Melbourne. Whichever applies to you, we keep the paperwork clear and set everything out in your service agreement.

Which areas do you cover?

We provide in-home and community support across Melbourne, Victoria and many surrounding suburbs. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, just ask — we're always happy to check.

Who can make a referral?

Anyone in the participant's circle of support — the participant themselves, a family member, carer or nominee, a support coordinator or a plan manager. Head to our Referrals page to get started, or send us a message and we'll guide you.

What types of support can you help with?

We provide everyday supports including daily living support, community access, transport assistance, appointment support, shopping and errands, meal preparation, household tasks, life skills development and social participation. See the full list on our Services page.

How quickly will you respond?

We aim to respond to messages and call back requests within one business day. If your enquiry needs a quicker response, please mention this in your message. For emergencies, call 000.
